Poseidon Entertainment Complex

One of the most prestigious
Soapy Massage Club in Bangkok

Poseidon Complex Entrance

Poseidon Entertainment Complex on Ratchadapisek Road in the downtown metropolitan part of Bangkok is so well known that even folk living abroad have heard about this prestigious soapy massage club. It is also possibly the most talked about establishment of its kind in Thailand. For this reason, alone, it must surely rank at the top the charts in terms of popularity. On first sight, the building in which the club is held is without a doubt quite profound if not fairly impressive.

Once you enter the building, things become even more impressive. For starters, you'll soon grasp why Poseidon is known as an entertainment complex and not just an establishment distinguished for its massage capabilities. Apart from three hundred or so deluxe massage rooms complete with Jacuzzi and saunas, plus ten VIP massage rooms, there must be close to a hundred and fifty beautiful girls waiting to pamper you. Well, maybe not all at the same time if you get my drift.

What to Expect on the Ground Floor

You can easily spend a good part of your day or night here if not a fair amount of dough too. Why not pop into the posh Star Dust restaurant before or after your massage and sample some of the excellent cuisines on offer, be it Thai, Japanese, Chinese or European style. You are sure to find something to suit the taste buds. Freshly prepared food of the highest quality coupled with friendly staff makes this contemporary restaurant a wonderful habitat in which to unwind.

Star Dust Karaoke Lounge at the Poseidon Entertainment Complex is a great spot for you to practice your singing skills from a wide variety of songs. Other than your own, try a hand at singing in a foreign tongue such as Thai as I once did, or one of the Asian languages such as Japanese or Chinese. A few drinks should help set the mood. The lounge is also a great place to simply relax and enjoy the music and ambience with perhaps a pretty Poseidon girl by your side.

What to Expect on the Second Floor

The massage area of the entertainment complex is located on the second floor and known as Venus Showroom. It is easily accessible from the lobby via the stairs or the elevator and it's here where you'll find the majority of girls. Don't be too alarmed if you see a bevvy of pretty girls sitting patiently inside a large fishbowl while a lesser amount of even prettier Thai girls sit directly outside the fishbowl.

As with all the soapy massage salons in Thailand, the cost to spend time with a Thai girl in the fishbowl will always be a little less expensive than the girls who sit on the sideline. The reason for this is simple. Girls on the side are newcomers and generally younger and prettier than the girls in the fishbowl. Though this isn't always the norm in most salons, I have often come across some real stunners in the fishbowl. Prices range from 2,000 to 2,500 Baht respectfully.

What to Expect on the Third Floor

If you wish to be pampered by a stunning supermodel Thai girl, then my suggestion to you would be to explore the Bunny Bar Lounge cum restaurant on the third floor. Here the pretty young girls sit on plush couches and can be viewed from up close and personal. Soft classical acoustics compliment the extraordinary setting. Prices on the third floor can burn a sizable hole in your pocket so expect to pay anything from 3,500 THB to as much as 5,500 THB.

If you like, browse through a collection of photo albums at the bar of the models who are available at Poseidon. They include a number of specially selected limited edition Penthouse Pets. Be aware that some of the photos are actually shot in a studio so if you make arrangements to meet the lady concerned, she might not quite match up to your expectations once in front of you.

What the Complex is all About

Altogether the Poseidon Entertainment Complex is an 11 storey building located about 200 metres up the road from the Emerald Hotel and across the road from the Grand Hotel. There are a variety of massage rooms to choose, most of which come fully equipped with a TV, a private sauna and a large Jacuzzi bathtub.

Apart from the traditional Thai style rooms, you have a choice of Victorian Style rooms, Arabian-style rooms, Greek style rooms, Egyptian style rooms, Bali style rooms amongst many others. Top of the range here is a room called the Palace.

To sum up the situation, I have to say that the Poseidon Entertainment Complex is certainly one of the most popular soapy massage parlours of its kind if not the best Bangkok has to offer. It might be a reason why you should check it out.

Getting to the Entertainment Complex

Most taxi drivers know this area pretty well so getting there should be relatively easy. Best known landmarks to look out for are the Thailand Cultural Centre, the Carrefour Supermarket and the Home Pro Shopping Centre. There are a number of nightclubs and pubs around here too. Other than by taxi, take the MRT underground subway to Huai Kwang Station, then exit gate 3 or take the BTS SkyTrain to Sutthisan Station and exit gate 4. Walk a short distance from there.

Other Entertainment Complexes in the Area

If Poseidon Entertainment Complex is not quite your cup of tea, don't lose heart or give up just yet as you will be more than pleasantly surprised to find a whole lot of alternative venues in the immediate vicinity. Take a look at the other parlours on Ratchadapisek Road below.

Emmanuelle Massage is a well-established parlour in Ratchadapisek Road offering all the creature comforts and pleasures in which to relax.

Nataree Massage is just around the corner from Emmanuelle and a great alternative to a share some of the delights only Bangkok really has to offer. A real gem if you're looking for something special.

Caesars Entertainment is an up-market massage parlour located across the road from the Emerald Hotel on Ratchadapisek Road. The rooms are extremely high standard, uniquely designed and equipped with a sauna and a Jacuzzi to help you unwind and relax.

Copa Cabana is another upmarket massage parlour complex which, offers you all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a place of this calibre. It's also close enough to the Emmanuelle Massage Complex.

Subway Massage is surprisingly exceptional value for money ever since the establishment has had some much-needed upgrading done.

Hi Class Entertainment is another great value for money massage parlour in Ratchadapisek Road though it might not be the best in luxury and style but nevertheless a good place to get acquainted.

Colonze 2 Massage is located inside the Crystal Hotel just off Rachadaphisek Road in Bangkok. All in all you can expect to get a full body massage, a soapy massage and the famous Nuru massage here.
