Bangkok is famous for its soapy massage parlours and Utopia Entertainment Complex on Rama 9 Road, is possibly one of the most luxurious of them all. However, because the venue is renowned for its exceptionally gorgeous girls, it's also become one of the most expensive adult entertainment playgrounds in town.
Having said this, you have to understand that it's all about how far you're prepared to go. And by this, I don't mean distance. It's all about the depth of your pocket, the width of your wallet and the easy access to your credit card. Now that that's out of the way, and before I tell you about the actual costs, lets rather discuss what your money can buy and what you can expect here.
Apart from a great selection of pretty girls, including some who could easily pass as super models, the establishment has a number of sumptuous suites, all with beautifully appointed furnishings. Better looking than most self-indulgent hotels in the city. Big double beds, plush lounge areas, dining rooms, Jacuzzi and shower cubicles are some of the opulence money can buy. And that's just for starters.
The relaxed ambience in the lobby area provides you with a real sense of nirvana simply because of the smooth sounds of piano melodies drifting sensually across your path and or while enjoying a culinary experience in the restaurant. Depending on how long you wish to spoil yourself at Utopia, you can also enjoy some fine wines with your dinner in the comfort of your suite.
As an alternative source of pleasure and if you so wish, you could easily spend an evening testing your karaoke skills with your friends in Club Utopia on the premises or you can simply relax on one of the big fluffy sofas with one of the beautiful girls here. The establishment also has a fully functional spa where you can spend some time in the sauna or just chill out in the whirlpool or Jacuzzi.
Prices at Utopia range from as low as 2,100 THB to as high as 7,000 THB depending on whether you choose a girl in one of two glass-encased enclosures which resemble what is commonly known in Thailand as a fishbowl, or a girl on what is known as the sideline. Be aware that some foreigners are charged an extra 1,000 THB surcharge. I would try not be too overly concerned right now with the prices until you see the girls yourself. You may just like a girl whose price may suit your pocket. Below is an indication of what costs you can expect.
Double numbered fishbowl girls cost 2,100 THB for two hours.
Triple numbered fishbowl girls cost 2,500 THB for two hours.
S – Sideline girls cost 3,000 THB for one hour and 30 minutes.
M – Sideline girls cost 3,600 THB for one hour and 30 minutes.
V – Sideline girls cost 4,600 THB for one hour and 30 minutes.
PR – Sideline girls cost 5,600 THB for one hour and 30 minutes.
MOL – Sideline girls cost 7,000 THB for one hour and 30 minutes.
It's best to take a taxi to Utopia, which you'll find located at 69, 69/1-3 Rama 9 Road, Huay Kwang. At the intersection near the complex, travel along Rama 9 Road for approximately eight hundred metres towards Thanam Watthana Tham, which is a side street to your left. At the second set of traffic lights as you travel down Rama 9, look to your left and you'll see the huge Utopia sign about five hundred metres down the side street.
