Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and Cultural Village

Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and Cultural Village is a huge attraction for the whole family to enjoy. You could quite easily spend the whole day here exploring this enormous recreational park with it's stunningly manicured gardens. You will see a variety of plants including some rare exotic Palms, Cyclades, Bonsai Trees, Cactus and Orchids. Most of these plants are brought in from all over the world. You can enjoy traditional Thai dance performances at the cultural extravaganza show presented on the premises three times daily. These shows combine beauty and elegance of dance with hill tribe music, mock sword fighting and kick boxing that many tourists and locals alike love so much. You may even be witness to a Thai wedding ceremony and a Buddhist ordination ceremony if your timing is right.
Beautiful Manicured Gardens

Another popular attraction here are the elephant shows where these big beautiful creatures entertain you with soccer matches, dancing and other diverse forms of activities including the painting of T-Shirts which you are welcome to purchase. The in-house zoo contains many animal and bird species such as tiger, elephant, chimpanzee and parrot including the South American macaw. No need to go hungry either as there are a couple of restaurants where you can get something to eat at any time of the day. My suggestion to you is to try and get a table indoors as the heat at the outside tables seem to attract lots of flies that are a constant irritation while you are trying to enjoy your meal. I imagine this is due to the many elephants that wander around the grounds all day long. Curios, souvenirs and handicrafts from around the country can be purchased from the garden cultural village shopping mall. Nong Nooch Tropical Garden is situated approximately 16 kilometers or 10 miles south of Pattaya. No worries! There are various tours leaving Pattaya daily should you decide not to drive there yourself.
