Sex and Marriage advisory guide for the sex tourist aspiring to start a successful long-term relationship with a Thai girl or perhaps even more importantly, with the multitude of pretty young bar girls or any other place where hookers are for hire.
In reality, they just don't work. They never have and they never will. Accept this fact and move on. If you want to have a successful long-term relationship, find a Thai girl as close as possible to your own social, financial and or educational standing. Now we all know this is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Without trying to paint a bleak picture, there are a few golden rules you need to fully understand before embarking on a journey down this rather hazardous road if you want to stand any chance of having a happy marriage.
Please don't fall into the trap that so many others before you have. There are far more failed relationships between Western men and Thai girls than you can possibly imagine.
The first bit of advice on the list is if you are genuine about looking for a Thai girl to marry, don't become a sex tourist. Sex and marriage in Thailand's sex industry are not the answer.
If you can't meet a nice Thai girl in your own country via the normal channels such as in your work environment, through mutual friends or social events, you may want to join a legitimate and trustworthy dating agency. And by that, I mean one that is willing to provide you with some good references.
Alternatively hire a trustworthy private detective. It's the only way you'll be a hundred percent sure that there isn't a Thai boyfriend or husband lurking in the background waiting for the right opportunity to take your hard earned money away. The same goes should you meet the Thai girl of your dreams in Thailand.
If you do decide to come to Thailand to look for a good wife, for heaven's sake, don't go looking for one in a go-go bar or one in those naughty massage parlours you've heard so much about. That just wouldn't work. Or would it! Surely by now you should know that these places are strictly for sex tourists.
Please don't get me wrong here, there's nothing fallacious about being a sex tourist. It's just that you need to separate fact from fiction. You wouldn't go looking for a hooker to marry in your own country now, would you?
If you are a sex tourist (nothing wrong with that) the chances of you having a successful long-term relationship with any girl in Thailand, is practically zero. Bar girls don't fall in love with farangs, ever. They want your money and they will say anything to get it too. Accept this fact and continue being a sex tourist.
You never know, this could be a great career move and the best thing since sliced bread. Well, just for the moment anyway. If you should ever marry a bar girl, god forbid, don't complain when things go horribly wrong and I promise not to say, I told you so. You see, sex and marriage don't mix with bar girls and farangs.
Any guy reading this report who is already married to a Thai bar girl or is thinking about getting married to a bar girl hasn't as yet discovered the real truth. Either that you, or they, are in denial. Let's face it, real men don't marry girls working in any form or part thereof which involves prostitution. Would it not surprise you to know that the majority of farangs who marry Thai girls are sex tourists and most Thai girls who marry foreigners are bar girls.
Now let's think about this for a moment. You as a single man coming to Thailand wouldn't initially describe yourself as a sex tourist, now would you. Maybe more like a man of the world visiting an exotic country you've heard so much about from all those other friends of yours who've been there before.
Or is it because you've read about Thailand from the dozens of beautiful glossy brochures at the travel agency. Or is it because you are one of those people who love to watch all those travel programs on TV and desperately want to be apart of the action.
If you travel to Thailand as a couple or as a single woman, you may instinctively come here to visit one or more of the tropical islands and or beautiful beaches. If this is true, you've come to the right place, it's arguably one of the best holiday destinations in the world.
However, if you travel to Thailand on holiday as a single guy, you instinctively come here because there are just way too many beautiful girls who would be willing to treat you like gods, something which western girls are a lot less likely to do.
You may or may not be aware that as much as ninety percent of men, whether single or otherwise, who visit Thailand without a female companion, come here as a sex tourist. That's a fact. Without exception, the worst mistake you could make is to mix sex and marriage with prostitution. It ultimately ends in disaster.
It may be of little comfort to hear this disappointing news, but I hope that some of my advice on sex and marriage in Thailand will guide you in the right direction. If not, you may need to get your running shoes on and get the hell out of here as fast as possible.
