My vast collection of photos taken from around the world is my most treasured possessions. I have many albums filled with photographs. My only problem is they are so heavy to carry around and I also need a big area to store them all. These days there is little effort to take photos and even easier to store them. The digital age has many advantages when it comes to what you can achieve.
And it's just a click away should you like to see a lot more of my Photos of Thailand taken during my travels around the country.
Many tourists coming to Phuket spend most of their time in and around the beach areas of the island and therefore miss out going to Phuket Town. For it is here where you can spend your free time wandering at all the marvellous buildings or simply go shopping at all the small shops and stalls for gifts of all kinds. The nightlife isn't nearly as lively as it is on the beachfront, but if you want to spend time away from the crowds, then this may be the place for you.
Of course, if you love the beach life, you've come to the right place. Phuket has some fabulous beaches and all with such beautiful silky soft white sand. Patong is the most popular of the beaches but if you want something more for yourself, you can always try the beaches at Kata or Karon. The beaches are not only suitable for swimming but also great for all kinds of water sports activities.
The markets in Phuket are a must even if you are just browsing and don't actually want to buy anything in particular. Of course, that doesn't always work because there are just so many wonderful things to see. Simply walking away may not be that easy either as shop and stall owners make it more difficult for you to escape. Whatever you choose to do, you'll still have a great time there.
