Pattaya has so much more than sex, sunshine, sand, sea and shopping. There are many amazing temples, museums, art galleries, an underwater world, an elephant village, a crocodile farm and zoo including lush tropical gardens and orchid farms. There is a viewpoint atop a hill from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the whole bay area as well as the city. Pattaya is also home to a sacred Buddha image at the Wat Khao Phra Bat Temple where five Buddha images are located. This temple is a popular venue where worshipers can pay homage to their beliefs.

The Eight Immortals made their first appearance in China's Jin dynasty. Numerous bronze statuettes as well as stone carvings can also be viewed in both the upper and lower courtyards.
