What could possibly be more enthralling for the whole family than to see the Disney Ice Skating production, Worlds of Fantasy. The show is presented by Disney on Ice so it's bound to put a very big smile on any child’s face. Isn't this true what dreams are made of. I'm sure that there's really nothing wrong with being able to dream now and then, no matter how old you may be. As a kid, I was forever in dream land. Sometimes I think I'm still there. Anyway before I get way way too carried away, let me inform you that this fairy tale show is coming to you live in Bangkok, Thailand in March 2011. This would be a fantastical opportunity for you and the kids to escape into a wonderland of pure fantasy for an hour or two. And what better way for you to spend a little quality time with the family too. Please don't miss this one.

If you are on vacation towards the end of March 2011 in Bangkok and you are into the whole showbiz scene, then you must take the kids to this one. This spectacular ice show will surely dazzle and delight all who are fortunate to go and watch it. It's bound to be full of sparkle with a lot of twinkle too. Unfortunately I will have to miss this show because I won't be in the country at the time. However I thought it best to let you about it in case you are not aware of it. Please go and see it if you can then write to me and tell me just how much you enjoyed it. I do try to go to as many shows as I possibly can.

The Ice Skating Extravaganza, Worlds of Fantasy will be held at the Impact Arena, Exhibition and Convention Centre, Muang Thong Thani in Amphoe Pak Kret,
Nonthaburi
for four days only from Friday 25th to Monday 28th March. Impact Arena is a large-scale entertainment structure built specifically to hold various events for huge crowds in the metropolitan area of Bangkok. It is currently the 2nd largest exhibition and convention venue in Asia. It has an indoor floorspace of over 140,000 square metres and has the capacity to seat as much as 12,000 patrons comfortably in it's arena-style concert hall.

Tickets for Worlds of Fantasy are available from from Saturday January 15th, 2011 onward. I believe prices start at 600 baht and extend to 2,000 baht. I'm sure your kids will absolutely love the show and probably love you even more too. Then again I'm sure you'll love this show too. Worlds of Fantasy features a host of Disney characters, many taken from animated films such as Pixar's Cars, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan and Tinker Bell. The Ice Skating Extravaganza begins with a country road trip with Minnie and Mickey Mouse. They are forced to stop when their car breaks down and when fellow travellers Donald Duck and Goofy fail to fix the problem, Simba the Lion, the Little Mermaid and Tinkerbell come to their rescue. Well! that's it for now, can't tell you anymore otherwise I shall spoil are the excitement that follows.

Getting There
The Impact Arena is located about 40 kilometres or 24 miles north of the city centre. If you use the expressway, it will take 45 minutes from Suvarnabhumi International Airport and 30 minutes from Bangkok's central business district. From Dong Muang Domestic Airport, it's only 15 minutes.Public Bus Services run between the central business district of Bangkok and the Impact Arena. For departures from the city, first take the BTS Sky Train to Mo-Chit Station at Chatuchak Park then cross over to the Impact Link city shuttle bus service station. Buses there depart daily every thirty minutes from 6:00 am until 22:00 pm. The bus station for the return trip is situated at Aktiv Square, opposite the Impact Arena. See map below. Public Mini-Bus Services are available from several locations in and around Bangkok. Victory Monument in central Bangkok is one, Future Park Rangsit on Phahonyothin Road, Pathum Thani is another,

is another, the Mall Shopping Center Bangkapi on Lat Phrao Road, Khlong Chan is another and the Royal Ground at
Sanam Luang
is another. Go crazy. There are three drop off points at Impact Arena. One is opposite the front entrance of Impact Arena, another in front of the food atrium beneath the Sky Kitchen Bridge and the third is at Muang Thong Thani public car park.
