Fugitives in Thailand

Fugitives committing racketeering and embezzlement in Thailand

Due to a new-found writing passion, I wish to share some engaging crime stories from around Thailand with you. One of the reasons for the stories and hopefully many more to follow, is my desire to write a full-blown novel.

Although this website is essentially travel related, I am hoping to gain some valuable knowledge about writing in general. After first trying a hand at publishing my traveling experiences abroad, I hope to put pen to paper and write a suspense thriller of sorts. I am busy researching a few ideas.

One of the most amazing things about visiting Thailand is that as a tourist you will hardly witness any real crime other than the possibility of being the victim of a pickpocket. That is not to say that horrific crimes do not exist here. They certainly do but remember crime issues effect every country. You have to be vigilant at all times no matter where you go.

It would help if you could leave any comments you may have about my writing skills. Scroll down to the bottom of this page to make contact.

Hungarian Crook Arrested

Fugitives in Thailand

Hungarian Fugitive

Thailand is one of the most beautiful holiday destinations in the world for tourists to spend marvelous vacations leisurely shopping, exploring ancient temple sites or just enjoying lazy balmy days at the seaside. For many it is a true dream holiday. For some it's an ideal haven for undesirables to bask in the glorious all year round good weather while luxuriating their ill-gotten gains. What a great place for a little racketeering and embezzlement.

The man from Hungary had settled comfortably into his holiday home at the luxurious S.P. Village in south Pattaya and was looking forward to some great times ahead. Beautiful smiling faces were everywhere. Cool crystal clear waters with gentle swaying palms required attention. Heaven was about to open it's gates but soon a different one was about to close.

Interpol was hot on his trail. An arrest warrant had already been issued. The Thai Immigration Bureau of investigations in Jomtien was given the task of apprehending the Hungarian. The crime was the embezzlement of funds amounting to some 40 million Baht. The 50 year old suspect Peter Andras Sakardi, had been on the run from Europe and was desperately wanted by Interpol. Poor Peter thought Thailand was the great escape. Here he could live out his retirement in comfort but it was not to be.

Help Fight Crime in Thailand

The Thai Police have more than enough on their plate dealing in a wide variety of misdemeanor activities and cannot always be expected to find every criminal hiding out in the big cities or every small town in Thailand. There is however an independent organization to help ongoing efforts to rid this great country of all it's bad elements. This is how you can help.

If you know of a foreign fugitive hiding out in Thailand and feel it your duty to report the matter, I can offer you some assistance in contacting the right people. Your confidentiality and anonymity will be guaranteed and you will not be required to give your name or address be it fiscal or email unless you wish to receive further follow ups regarding the investigation.

What you don't want to do is waste time reporting any personal attacks or false accusations as neither of this has any place in the pursuit and administration of justice. Also don't use this as a means of reporting people you dislike, whose who just happen to look dodgy or anyone who might act differently. It doesn't necessarily mean that they are criminals. Only report real crime based on enough reliable information.
